It is fairly easy to be concerned about our past sins. It is natural to look back and feel guilty about past transgressions. We considered this last Sunday when we asked "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." But how concerned are we about future sin? It is a distinguishing characteristic of a genuine Christian to earnestly desire to be preserved from future falls and trespasses.

Join us tomorrow at 9:30am as we examine the 6th petition of the Lord's Prayer, in which we ask God to preserve us from future occasions of sin.

As Christians we have three enemies: the World (I Jn. 2:15,16), The Flesh (Gal. 5:16,17) and the Devil (I Peter 5:8). God is greater than all and he helps us to overcome and gain the victory through the Lord Jesus Christ.
