Tonight’s game against the Niagara Ironbacks has been canceled due to the threat of impending thunderstorms.

The Olean Oilers are teaming up with St. Bonaventure University’s Students Without Borders (SWOB) for a special fundraiser during the Oilers’ game against the Niagara Ironbacks TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. at Bradner Stadium.

The event will help raise funds for SWOB’s annual medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where St. Bonaventure Physician Assistant students, faculty, alumni, and medical professionals provide healthcare services to underserved communities.

Students Without Borders is dedicated to serving those in need both locally and internationally. Throughout the year, members volunteer at community health events, assist with free clinics, and work to improve access to healthcare for individuals who may otherwise go without medical services.

During their most recent mission trip, the SWOB team provided medical care, medications, and health education to approximately 900 patients in the Dominican Republic. Their efforts focus on treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, promoting preventive care, and improving overall community health.

The Olean Oilers invite fans to come out for a great night of collegiate baseball while supporting a meaningful cause and helping future healthcare providers continue their mission of service.
