Balayage vs. foils

Balayage is a hand painted open air process used to achieve minimal lift for warmer results.

Babylights or highlights are processed in foils, this keeps the heat in and keeps the bleach from drying out for a much lighter result.

This client came to me after getting a very natural balayage & wanted to see more dimension. We used foils to achieve the end look, focusing on the ends and face framing to give her a natural and lived in effect.
