These visits provide an opportunity for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, staff, and patients to share the real-world opportunities and challenges facing our profession.

The APTA Washington Delegation came together on Saturday for a full day of collaboration and preparation for the upcoming APTA House of Delegates (HoD), taking place July 12–13 in Portland, Oregon. Together, our delegates reviewed more than 30 motions that will help shape important discussions and decisions at the House.

The House of Delegates is APTA’s representative body, where delegates from across the country speak and act on behalf of members to establish policies and positions that guide the future of the Association and the physical therapy profession. Delegates also elect APTA’s national leaders.

APTA Washington is proud to have 12 voting delegates representing the voices of Washington physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students at the national level.
