Olympia RATS

Hey everyone, here is something that I haven't done here for a while - a Second Saturday Ride Announcement (normally, we just use email). We are meeting tomorrow at Bayview Thriftway at 9:30 for 10-ish departure. It looks like we're riding to Port Townsend. We'll be going up the west side of Hood Canal and coming down the east side. Admittedly 101 along the canal isn't that exciting (it is scenic) but we'll try to spice it up a bit with a run up to Lake Cushman and getting off 101 at Quilcene. In any case, feel free to join us on a nice day and ride.

Well, here's something you don't see everyday.

Second Saturday Ride in July. I just created and posted an event notice but I don't know where it went. Therefore, here is a late notice of tomorrow's ride. We're riding to Astoria. Meet at Bayview Thriftway at 9, leave at 9:30. On the way south, we'll do Delphi, Waddell Creek, Cap Forest, Oakville-Brooklyn (there will be gravel), and 101 to Astoria. They way back is undetermined but if the timing is right, I think we'll try the ferry to Puget Island from Westport, Oregon.
