Here’s a little shoutout for Artois Equestrian, which sometimes seems to slip from minds or even be forgotten! When I made the leap to purchase this incredible facility, one big, important question loomed. What would become of the name Flying M Stables? Should I keep it and set aside Artois Equestrian, the business I’ve built since 2014 and the name I dreamed I would one day make for myself? Should we change it? Combine them? What’s the right move?
Here’s the thing; you don’t erase history. You just don’t. “Artois Flying M Equestrian” didn’t flow, and other combinations felt awkward. I admired how another facility handled a similar challenge. When Donida Farms was sold, Bello beautifully merged past and future as “Bello Acres at Donida,” preserving heritage while adding a fresh vibe. Inspired, I tried my own blend and loved the result: “Artois Equestrian at Flying M Stables.” It’s smooth, memorable, and honors both past and present. Flying M Stables carries the legacy, while Artois Equestrian brings new energy. Change is necessary, but erasing the past? No way! While merging pages will be a big project for the future, for now I want to remind everyone that Artois Equestrian is here at Flying M Stables.
