😶 God is not interested in the outer appearance of things. But He looks to the heart behind things. Ironically as humans all we can really see is the outer realm of peoples actions. But it is important to consider our own motives. If this is what God measures a man by, then we ought to care for our heart more than anything. ❤

The next time we pray for anything. Whether for ourselves or others. We should consider our motives. When you pray God change "this person", teach them discipline, make them a better person, show them how to have right motives! 😤 That is not the right heart to approach God, first and foremost is the motive YOU pray with, this should be out of love not anger or frustration or even fear. Love is our motive and that is everything to God.

Remember that motive and will are tied. GODS WILL, needs to become OUR MOTIVE. This is how the Kingdom operates, that we would know God's will so intimately that it motivates us to pray. 🙏

So don't be discouraged if you are praying and asking God for something and don't see it yet. But instead examine your own heart, so that you're not doing what merely "looks right". 👀

What are you thankful for today? How excellent is it that the good Lord has allowed us to freely give thanks to him?

When looking into the mirror, who is receiving blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength? Who do you believe those things belong to? Is it us? Is it you? Or is it your mother and father? Maybe it’s God? Maybe you have found yourself staring back at you with a few answers or maybe no answer entirely...? We all know what the “righteous” answer is... But of course... it’s God. (The verse sort of gives that away). But what is honestly on your tongue in the back of your throat? What is your instant answer?
Sometimes we always feel like we need blessings such as things given to us or thanksgiving such as appreciation (actions or words) from friends, family, or even people at work; people in our life traffic pattern. •We are praying that in this season of thanks giving we can humble ourselves and even acknowledge the true King - to offer thanksgiving for everything He has provided us with in our lives. Let us sing aloud his blessings of life and wisdom and truly be appreciative; especially in our own little worlds during these great holidays. 🙏🍁☃️🍗🎄When looking into the mirror, do not forget to look up to Him. ⬆️⬆️⬆️
