Real talk in nature….I’ve been in nervous system/trauma/bodymind world for 15 years. Walking humans through their bodies, experiences, stories. Regulation is not the goal. Authenticity is. Capacity and resiliency is. Flow. Living. The ability to flow with all experiences and find center again. And sometimes it’s messy, not regulated, and expressive in a way that makes others uncomfortable. Our job is to be authentic anyway. At times we will be brought to our edges for growth, and trying to force regulation can sneakily end up as suppression. Suppression of authenticity, your expansion, your gifts.
