Join Katie East, PhD, D-ABFA, forensic anthropologist, for the April 30 Omaha Science Cafe as she presents, “A true crime history of forensic anthropology: How famous true crime cases led to the development of forensic anthropology,” 7pm at Vis Major Brewing Company.

With over a decade working in museums, laboratories, and field settings, Dr. East offers a broad range of insights about anthropology and science to audiences of all ages.

She talks about anthropology, archaeology, STEM, forensic anthropology, and science communication to audiences of all ages and believes being a scientist is not about wearing a lab coat, its about asking good questions, careful observation, and critical thinking.

This is an all ages cafe.
