Our summer camps taught by certified educators blend project-based learning (PBL), creativity, movement, and real-world skills in a warm, community-centered environment. Each week features hands-on projects, collaboration, and time outdoors.

Ages: 6–11
Half Day: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
Full Day: 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Simplistic Learning Academy- off 144th and F St Omaha

Pricing:

Half Day (8:30–12:00): $185/week - includes all week theme activities.

Full Day (8:30–3:30): $350/week- includes week theme activities and additional afternoon STEAM fun + more

Enrollment Minimum: A minimum of 3 students per session is required for camps to run.

Bring a water bottle and snack for half day enrollment. Bring a water bottle, lunch and 2 snacks for full day enrollment. Some camps include making food, so please let us know of any allergies.

🌼 June 1–5 | Buzz & Bloom: Pollinator Garden Camp
Explore • Plant • Protect
Campers learn about pollinators and ecosystems while helping with a pollinator garden. Activities include pollinator fact fun, butterflies vs. moth activities, migration games, nature journal design.

Skills: Environmental science, responsibility, teamwork, observation

📦 June 8–12 | Think Outside the Box: Cardboard Creation Camp
Design • Build • Innovate
Using cardboard and recycled materials, campers plan and construct original creations—while learning the design process.

Skills: Engineering thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity

🎲 June 14–19 | Math in Motion: Patterns & Games Camp
Play • Strategize • Think
Campers explore patterns, probability, and strategy through engaging math games and challenges that build confidence and critical thinking.

Skills: Logical reasoning, math fluency, strategy, sportsmanship

🍋 June 22–27 | Squeeze the Day: Lemonade Stand Camp
Plan • Budget • Sell
Campers design a lemonade stand, create a budget, practice customer service, and reflect on teamwork and profits through a hands-on entrepreneurship experience.

Skills: Financial literacy, math, communication, entrepreneurship

June 22–27 | Kindergarten Readiness Camp - 1/2 day only

A gentle, hands-on camp designed for children entering kindergarten. Campers build social-emotional skills, early literacy, numeracy, and practice routines through play-based activities.

Skills: Early literacy, social-emotional development, motor skills, confidence

Create • Explore • Reflect
A nature-inspired art week featuring rock art, walking sticks, simple labyrinth concepts, and designing a personal nature journal.

Skills: Creativity, mindfulness, design, connection to nature

✂️ July 6–10 | Make a Scene: Zine & Mini-Book Camp
Write • Create • Share
Campers learn what zines are and how to make them, then create mini books such as about themselves, "how to" explaination and more using mixed media.

Skills: Writing, sequencing, creativity, self-expression

🕵️ July 13–17 | Crack the Case: Whodunnit Mystery Camp
Investigate • Solve • Create
Campers solve daily mysteries using logic and clues, then design and write their own whodunnit mystery for others to solve.

Skills: Critical thinking, collaboration, writing, reasoning

🧘 July 20–24 | Flow & Create: Yoga + Art Camp
Move • Make • Mindful
A balanced camp combining daily yoga, mindfulness activities, and creative crafts. Focus on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and joyful movement.

Skills: Mindfulness, body awareness, creativity, emotional wellness

🏕️ July 27–31 | Adventure Ready Camp
Adapt • Problem-Solve • Thrive
Campers work in teams to solve survival challenges such as shelter building, resource planning, and tool design while building resilience and leadership skills.
