We're excited to introduce Barry Carman, the next speaker for our Race, Religion, and Social Justice Conference! (Registration is still open at the link in our bio!)

Barry Carman is an artist, administrator, and consultant with over 20 years experience at the intersection of art-making and community-building. As a director, dramaturg, and deviser, he has co-created over 80 productions. Across his leadership and consulting roles, he prioritizes human-centered program development, capacity growth, and strategic partnerships. Currently based in the Pacific Northwest, Barry has worked regionally with Great Plains Theatre Commons, Old School Shakespeare Omaha, and Opera Omaha, among others. He is a fierce advocate for new work, systems change, and dogs. He is q***r, formerly incarcerated, formerly unhoused, and formerly unhinged.
