Reports suggest that Chinese authorities deployed SWAT and paramilitary units in Zhejiang Province to conduct large-scale arrests of Christians connected to unregistered house churches. Roads were sealed, church facilities were shut down, and hundreds of believers were reportedly detained or taken in for questioning. Church leaders were accused under broad, loosely defined criminal charges commonly used to restrict religious activity, while officials offered no public explanation. The operation has been described as a coordinated crackdown.

The Super Bowl halftime show will have some competition... Today, Oct. 9, Turning Point USA announced it will be hosting the "All American Halftime Show" as an alternative to the Super Bowl's halftime show in 2026. Turning Point USA says it will be a celebration of "faith, family, and freedom."
