This week, our Rainbow Summer Clinic is celebrating all things **purple** with a soccer-themed adventure inspired by the excitement of the **World Cup!** 🌎🏆

Soccer is so much more than kicking a ball—it creates amazing opportunities to build important developmental skills while having fun!

🗣️ **Speech Therapy**
⚽ Practice following directions during soccer games.
⚽ Build vocabulary by learning soccer terms and talking about teamwork.
⚽ Work on requesting, commenting, answering questions, and cheering on teammates.
⚽ Strengthen social communication through turn-taking and cooperative play.

💙 **Occupational Therapy**
🥅 Improve balance, coordination, and motor planning while dribbling and kicking.
🥅 Build body awareness, bilateral coordination, and visual-motor skills.
🥅 Practice strength, endurance, and sensory regulation through movement activities.
🥅 Develop fine motor skills with soccer-themed crafts and hands-on games.

Every activity is designed to help our kiddos grow while having an absolute blast! We can't wait to see our athletes score goals, build confidence, and celebrate every success—both on and off the field.

This week at Blue Door Pediatric Therapy, we're celebrating **Blue Week** during our Rainbow Summer Clinic, and it couldn't come at a better time as we get ready for the **4th of July!** 🇺🇸

Our therapists are filling the week with patriotic-themed speech and occupational therapy activities that encourage communication, fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and lots of fun! From star-spangled crafts and red, white, and blue games to movement activities and festive challenges, learning is always more exciting when it feels like play.

As you celebrate Independence Day with your family, here are a few fun ways to keep building skills at home:
🔹 Describe the colors, sights, and sounds of fireworks (or draw them if fireworks are too overwhelming).
🔹 Practice taking turns during backyard games.
🔹 Make a red, white, and blue snack together to work on following directions and fine motor skills.
🔹 Read a patriotic story and talk about your favorite parts.
