Come visit SUNO at the UNO Earth Day Summit on Wednesday, April 22nd!

With events going on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. including seed-ball making, a Durango’s Outfitters pop-up, plastic yarn creations, insect houses, and more…there will be no shortage of things to do! Additionally, there will be two guest speakers from the Nebraska Recycling Council and Hillside Solutions. SUNO will be tabling (handing out our sustainability kits) and leading campus biodiversity tours!

🌎HAPPY EARTH MONTH FROM SUSTAIN UNO!🌎

Although we focus on sustainability every day, April is a special time where more eyes than normal are directed towards sustainability.

Think about sustainable actions you can take up this Earth Month including recycling, composting, picking up trash, thrifting instead of buying new, avoiding single use plastics, and supporting local organizations focused on sustainability!

Coming up, Sustain UNO will be participating in the CEC Earth Day Summit on April 22nd for a day centered around sustainability and service. Additionally, we will be implementing another pocket prairie on campus in May which anybody is welcome to help with :) The space is pictured in the last photo.
