The agency will provide a brief overview of its work on the PSM rulemaking project before hearing public comments in a meeting now scheduled for October 12th, 2022. The proposed changes represent expansion of coverage and requirements for employers. Both the fiscal and administrative burdens of complying with such dramatic changes could prove to be immense.
OSHA Considering Possible Revisions to PSM Standard - Appruv OSHA considers revising PSM standard, which has not been updated in 30 years. Participants are invited to provide public comment on revisions.
