We wrapped up our April programming on Wednesday with an incredible car seat event!
A heartfelt thank you to Christ Child Society of Omaha for donating 30 brand new car seats for our moms. We’re also so grateful to Travis & Amy from Children's Hospital and Shannon from Creighton University's Child Safety Center for teaching proper car seat usage and safety. This is such vital knowledge for our ladies.
To our amazing volunteers who kept the kids happy and engaged so moms could fully focus, your support made all the difference!!
And a special thank you to CIRA Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement for helping transport some of our ladies. Transportation remains the number one barrier refugee women face when accessing resources, and this event showed just how powerful removing that barrier can be.
This was a huge success, and we’re still swelling with joy!!
