MEMORIAL DAY FLIGHTS! Some strong, gusty conditions this morning, but a few very experienced pilots still gave it a go.
JIM B. caught a last-second gust on landing but saved it with some aggressive left rudder. Then he started to taxi, but the plane wasn't done flying!
JOE C. sent up his hand-built gyrocopter for a few touch and gos. Always fun to watch!
LUKE H. did some high-speed low passes in his Avanti EDF jet -- so fast, it was hard to catch on camera!
ETHAN H. and a friend nailed a floaty, high-wind landing in an Apprentice.
CASEY V. ripped around the field with some high-precision 3D flying in his large-scale Edge.
