Where the Mediterranean meets the Middle East with a distinct Persian flair, you’ll find Mazza. Located in Midtown Crossing, the restaurant is the brainchild of Harvey Atamov. Atamov is a native of Tajikistan, a nation positioned at the crossroads of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China. Atamov’s culinary journey began at home, where his palate was shaped by his father, a professional chef. His vision further solidified when he moved to Turkey, where he refined the flavors that he wanted to bring to the world. After successfully partnering to open a similar concept in Houston, Atamov decided to bring his expertise to Omaha to create something truly unique.
