On This Date in NDN All-Stars History - In 1996, NDN All-Star #155 Cherokee Parks (Cherokee) is traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Minnesota Timberwolves, joining a young core that includes Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury.
The move gives Parks a larger opportunity in Minnesota, where he goes on to post the most productive statistical season of his NBA career.

On This Date in NDN All-Stars History - In 1982, NDN All-Star #47 Marvin Camel (Salish & Kootenai) defeats Leonardo Rodgers via 5th-round technical knockout at the City Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.
Defending his USBA Cruiserweight Championship, Camel proves too strong for Rodgers and forces a stoppage while continuing his climb back toward another world title opportunity. The victory improves his professional record to 41-4-2.

Beating Lewis in New York puts Norris at the top of the American karate scene.
