📣 GOHS is collaborating with the Carbondale Historical Society on an important project, and we need your help!

👥 CHS and GOHS are working together to identify families with D&H railroad roots in both Carbondale, PA and Oneonta. If your family or one you know has branches in both cities, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

🚂 During the 19th and 20th centuries, both cities were major hubs in the Delaware and Hudson Railroad transportation system, with daily freight and passenger trains connecting them. This created a fluid interchange of job opportunities, and many D&H families naturally put down roots in both communities, with some members living in Oneonta and others in Carbondale.

💻 We look forward to hearing from you!
