🌱☀️ A Little Rain Doesn't End a Drought ☀️🌱

We have finally seen some much needed rain over the past week or so, but we're still experiencing drought conditions. While it's tempting to let Mother Nature take over, your lawn and landscape still need proper watering habits to remain healthy.

A few quick reminders:
💧 Water deeply rather than frequently to encourage stronger root growth.
💧 Water early in the morning to reduce evaporation.
💧 Check your sprinkler system to make sure it's covering evenly and not wasting water.

Our current recommendations:
Watering frequency: 2-3 times per week
Rotor zones: 45–55 minutes per cycle
Spray zones: 25–35 minutes per cycle
****Although the St. Johns Water Management District currently restricts irrigation to one designated watering day per week, watering is still permitted for specific exceptions. These exceptions include watering immediately following the application of fertilizer, pesticides, or other landscape treatments when needed to ensure proper absorption and effectiveness.****

While we help protect your lawn from damaging pests, proper watering is one of the best things you can do to keep your landscape healthy. Chinch bugs specifically LOVE dry lawns, and we are noticing a lot of them right now.

Healthy lawns and landscapes are better equipped to withstand Florida's heat, drought, and seasonal stresses.

We're grateful for every drop of rain, but we're not out of the woods just yet. 🌿
