I try to always be prepared and have my family prepared in case trouble breaks out. I met some local armor manufacturers here in TX that offer some great ballistic plates that are light weight and will fit into backpacks or bags. I have and use several of the plates in bags and backpacks for the family. I travel overseas with them and have no issues with TSA or international security. The ballistic plates are rated for all caliber handguns and weigh less than 1 pound. There is also a T-Shirt that will hold the ballistic plates and allow you to wear you every day clothing keeping your ballistic protection covert. If you are interested, let me know.
