Romance with Rust

The shop is booked in over with this coming Monday for them to pull the most out of the motor... let’s see what it makes on the rollers

The GTX moved over to the fabrication and assembly shop to get its restored suspension installed and then back into bodyshop to get some color in the cabin space and trunk space as you’ll all know the sheet metal work was all replaced with new replacement panels👌🏼it’s looking fantastic, definitely going to be a nice car this 👌🏼
We don’t often work on American muscle cars however this is a project we couldn’t say no to doing... 1 of the 24 made 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible 426 Dual Quad HEMI V8 with a 4 speed cars in B5 blue.... a very rare muscle car as you’ll see we have made some great progress with the panel replacement and removal of the unwanted rust... with the replacement complete trunk floor with inner quarter returns, both rear quarter panels rear passenger seat base floor panel and much more with hand fabricated panels, some more welding and panel gaping to go, but we are almost finished with this stage of the GTX’s complete restoration, suspension removal next and mounting the body to a bodywork dolly and over into the paint and bodywork part of the project.... it’s come a long way this GTX from September

Well we definitely made some good progress on this one...
now we have the parts in stock for the 1968 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Veloce from alfaholicsltd we should be able to make some good progress in 2020 and continue with the repairs and complete re-paint and get it back to FastCars 👍🏼 @ Romance with Rust
