💥We just wrapped up the major work for this lower-level transformation in Madison, WI! What was originally an old bar and storage area is now a fully code-compliant, legal bedroom. By strategically tucking away the mechanicals, we were able to get rid of the old grid tile ceiling and maximize the layout to fit the client's design needs perfectly.

This transformation included:
•A new 48" x 36" sliding egress window for safety and natural light.
•A custom framed closet with double French doors.
•Exterior siding repairs, yard grading, and reseeding.

Next up: installing the brand-new flooring to completely tie the room together! 🪵✨

New Egress Window | Madison Basement Remodel

We’re on-site in Madison today reaching a major milestone on this basement remodel. Installing a code-compliant egress window is a highly technical process—there is no room for error when you’re saw-cutting through concrete and digging deep next to a finished structure.
The photos show the progression from the initial excavation to the install with a secure window well and cover. It’s a dusty, heavy phase of the project, but seeing that first bit of daylight hit a space that’s been dark for years is always a win for the crew. ☀️

Shop life: Spraying doors and staining shutters. Here’s a look at the team working in our finishing booth. It’s such an advantage for us having this dedicated space instead of tying up valuable room on the job site while finishes dry. Plus, the temperature-controlled environment helps us get much higher and more consistent finish results.
