We are Hiring: Apply Now for Barista & Part-Time Baker Positions

Want to join your favorite coffeeshop team? With the upcoming exit of some beloved baristas who are moving or going back to school in August, Firefly Coffeehouse is hiring.

We have openings for the following (please share with folks who might be interested):

Full-time weekday baristas
32 or 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Base pay: $17/hour, plus tips = an average wage of $21-23 per hour. All baristas are cross-trained to work in both the kitchen and the espresso bar. Shift options include 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 7 a.m.–3 p.m., and 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. We offer full-time team members health and dental insurance, paid vacation, a free meal and unlimited free drinks during each shift, a 40 percent employee discount on all items when not working and end-of-year profit sharing. Hiring for multiple positions with a preferred start date of August 1.

Part-time weekday baristas
16-32 hours per week, with a minimum requirement of 16 hours per week. $17/hour base wage, plus tips = an average wage of $21-23 per hour. Shift options include 4-, 6-, or 8-hour shifts between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. We offer part-time staff a free meal and unlimited free drinks during each shift, a 40 percent discount on all items when not working, and end-of-year profit sharing. Hiring for multiple positions with a preferred start date of August 1.

Part-time weekday evening bakers
We are at the point where we literally can not make enough bakery, so it’s time to add more second-shifters. You’ll work 3-4 hours per shift, anytime between 3:30pm - 10:30 pm., Monday through Friday (work one, two, or three evenings - we are flexible). $20/hour. All bakers receive employee discount, free drinks when working, and end-of-year profit sharing. Home bakers are encouraged to apply: you'll be making scones, muffins, coffee cakes and granola bars. We are hiring for multiple positions with a preferred start date in early to mid-July.

Part-time Sunday baker
4 hours per shift, working a set shift anytime between 5 am and 10 pm. $23/hour. All bakers receive an employee discount, free drinks while working, and end-of-year profit sharing. Home bakers are encouraged to apply: you'll be making scones, muffins, coffee cakes and granola bars. Preferred start date in early to mid-July.

Part-time Sunday Bacon Master
4 hours per shift, working a set shift anytime between 5 am and 10 pm on Sundays (either before or after our baker is finished for the day). $25/hour. You'll bake bacon in our ovens to use on our panini sandwiches during the week. Our current baker master will train you (he makes additional bacon during the week, as we can literally never have enough bacon). Preferred start date is early to mid-July.

Pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin bakery lovers unite! We're celebrating Summerween at Firefly June 22-26 with pumpkin cream cold brew, pumpkin chai, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin scones, PUMPKIN BARS with real cream cheese frosting and miniature pumpkin pies.
