Chestnut harvest. Small crop this year but husks off to the trees that found a way to produce any nuts during this parchment-dry summer. We'll roast some in December while playing a certain Christmas song.

Our Story
We are One Seed Farm. Our mission is to create an economically sustainable, environmentally regenerative agricultural model adaptable to family farms of any size, with emphasis on community building, optimal soil microbiology, plant and livestock diversity and avoidance of toxic and synthetic inputs. We look to nature as an ally, not an adversary. That thinking is not traditional, but with a little momentum, a little innovative spirit and a little attention to common sense, it will be the future of agriculture in our country.
