Welcome PFC Snow to the Utah Army National Guard! PFC Snow enlisted today as an 11C - Indirect Fire infantryman (Mortarman) and will receive a $20,000 bonus! As he continues his education at UVU and contracts ROTC he will not only have free school but will be making well over $1,000 a month during the semester. All this for PART TIME WORK! At completion of the program he will enlist as an officer and have the option to go active duty, reserves or to stay in the guard.

Welcome PFC Tumanuvao to the Utah Army National Guard. He enlisted today as an 09R - SMP Cadet. PFC Tumanuvao will drill each month as a Cadet in the guard shadowing officers to better hone his leadership skills and various other army tasks for when he commissions as a 2LT.

Once Contracted with the ROTC he will receive a monthly stipend, $420 per month and be paid as an E-5 (SGT)for his drill weekends. All this and we will be paying for the rest of his education.

Welcome PFC Olsen back into the service! PFC Olsen did a stint in the marine corps before “wising” up and coming to the Utah Army National Guard. (It’s a joke, don’t get all fired up marines… RAH!)

PFC Olsen enlisted today as a 35P- Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor (Arabic Speaking) super stoked for him to get this opportunity to learn a language and further his service!

Congrats PV2 Marichal!

He enlisted yesterday as a 88N - Transportation Management Coordinator and will attend Basic Airborne School after he completes AIT . PV2 Marichal plans to contract ROTC next year and commission as an Officer into into the Army National Guard.
