Well... I’ve been gone from this account for a while. But this is what life’s next adventure has taken me.

All I got to say is, chase your dreams. It’s not worth sitting around at a dead end job, or going to school for something you dont want to study.

I started flying back in 2016, and put it off for military, which didn’t work out. After that I went to SLCC->UoU->UVU. Feeling frustrated I finally decided to get back to flying and it was the best decision I have ever made.

If you’re looking for a sign to , this is it. Go for it!

This point was used as a corral for wild mustangs roaming the mesa top. One time, they were left corralled on the waterless point where they died of thirst within view of the Colorado river 2000’ below. Any guesses on this state park?

Definitely grateful for the great outdoors and all the friends we make along the way during the adventures!

Planning on a hike tips!!

🏕Plan ahead and prepare🏕

⭐️To prevent getting lost or missing in the wilderness! It is important to plan ahead, prepare and alert your family members about your location! ⭐️

🌿🍃This week, Eric and I were heading out onto the mountain to attempt to find the Box Canyon Rappel. We tried our best to look up locations, review maps, and even used GPS coordinates, but we still ended up getting lost! This is why it is important to leave behind a plan with your local ranger station, friend, or family member.

A few steps to be taken notes 📝
Who: how many people are going with you?
Where: what location you will be exploring?

What: the activities that you will be doing ?

When: your ETA back to service

TIPS FOR THE RESCUE PLAN
who and when to contact search and rescue.

An example of this trip would be:
Eric and Alvin headed to Maple Canyon (Box Canyon) to rappel down. We will be here for 4 hours. If you do not hear back from us in 6 hours, please contact Uinta Forest Rangers.
