When I lived in France (from 1994 to 1996) I talked to people who explained a lot about government control of their lives. The country was pretty socialist at the time (according to my limited understanding back then). Today I read about a state legislator in Utah who wants to stop corporations and investment trusts from buying homes in Utah. Tyler Clancy from Provo. He talks about his desire to buy a home, but that they are too expensive. Sounds nice right?

But his liberal willingness to subsidize the masses (himself included in this case) by taking money from others (along with some socialist ideology) is showing through. I am shocked that an elected official in Utah has the guts to propose something like this. He is literally proposing a LAW that would restrict who a homeowner could sell their house to! Do we really want the government controlling the largest asset that most people own?

Tyler... You are one crazy dude! Good luck in the next election!
