We’re heading back to Costa Rica, and this trip means so much more than just traveling to another country.
We’re going to help provide veterinary care in communities where many pets have little to no access to basic medical treatment. These animals deserve vaccines, preventatives, spays and neuters, medications, and treatment for diseases that can be painful, preventable, and sometimes life-threatening.
For many of these pets, this may be their only opportunity to receive veterinary care.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping us provide that care from vaccines and medications to lifesaving treatments and surgical supplies.
As veterinary professionals, we know how much of a difference access to care can make. This mission is about showing up, using our skills, and helping animals who need us most.

In July, we’re going back to Costa Rica with the Pets Rule Care Project to help provide veterinary care to animals and families who need it most.
Last year, alongside Guayabo Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, this mission helped provide free spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, education, and support for dogs and cats in underserved communities. This year, we’re returning to continue that work and we’re going back with many of the people in veterinary medicine you already know and love, along with an incredible team of veterinary professionals who are excited to get out there, work hard, and help animals who need us.
But we cannot do it without support.
Your donation helps fund the medical supplies, medications, surgical materials, and resources needed to make this clinic possible. Every syringe, every suture, every medication, every piece of equipment matters when you are trying to bring care to animals who may otherwise go without.
This mission is about more than just one trip. It is about helping reduce suffering, supporting families, improving access to veterinary care, and giving animals a better chance.

POV: You survived an amazing conference weekend, learned a ton, networked your face off… and then forgot to schedule a recovery day.
My body is filing a formal complaint.
Exhausted, grateful, and full of quiet joy. It was a long road to get here, followed by an incredible weekend of CE, education, networking, collaborations, friendships, laughter, and hard work.
After everything it took to make it through, this quiet moment together felt like the perfect ending tired, proud, and grateful.
