Alum and Ink

New pins in my shops today! These are my southern magnolia enamel pins. They're around 2.75" from tip-to-tip, are hard enamel, gold plated and have three posts on the back.

While doing research to make this pin, I found out that magnolias are very ancient. They're even older than bees! Way back, before bees were around, magnolias attracted other prehistoric insects for pollination instead. I just thought that was just so cool. ❤️
