We identify and resolve issues for Federal employees injured at work. We strive to obtain every benefit afforded under the Federal Employees Compensation Act (FECA). These benefits include monetary compensation, medical treatment, return to work, and schedule awards.

With over 20 years of federal experience, Ms. Braswell has the expertise and knowledge to assist you with all matters relating to your Federal Employment benefits. A prior Claims Examiner at the Department of Labor and a Human Resource Workers’ Compensation Specialist at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Ms. Braswell is considered a subject matter expert in the area of Federal Workers’ Compensation (OWCP).

For several years she reviewed, developed and evaluated claims for the Department of Labor, analyzing medical evidence, applying the regulations to novel arguments and rendering claims decisions, payment determinations and medical treatment authorizations. While serving at the VA, she served as OWCP program specialist for one of America’s busiest VA Medical Centers and was selected to participate in several committees overseeing VA’s National OWCP program. During her work on these national committees, Ms. Braswell, contributed to the development of the VHA workers compensation handbook and directive, peer reviewed the VA workers compensation guidebook prior to publication and was an active participant in the national worker’s compensation advisory group. A dedicated advocate and qualified paralegal, Ms. Braswell presents a unique, niche option for Federal employees seeking an alternative to costly attorney retainer fees.

In addition to her worker’s compensation expertise, Ms. Braswell has extensive experience in a variety of federal programs including Equal Employment Opportunity, Reasonable Accommodation, FERS retirement, Family Medical Leave Act (Title 1 and Title 2), FEHB, FEGLI and TSP.

When she is not affixed to her computer she enjoys spending time with family, vegetating on a beach reading a good book, mentoring troubled youth and being an aficionado on health & wellness.
