It feels a bit bittersweet (and somewhat amusing) to announce this, but here we go…�I created the "ninaveeeolina" / “Nina Violinist” account a little under 10 years ago with the simple intention of sharing my journey as a gigging violinist. Along the way, I built incredible friendships, both online and in person, created some fun content, fostered business partnerships, and so much more.
A few years ago when Covid hit, I took a significant step back from social media. It all felt dark and uncertain. I didn’t have the content or the energy to share because, in many ways, I was mourning what had been. During that same period, my grandpa passed away, and I just didn’t have the spark to post anything, other than sharing bits and pieces of what once was.
But recently, I’ve been rediscovering my music and art, and it feels alive again. The only "problem" is that the way this account is set up no longer reflects what I’m really here to do. I’ll still be available for weddings & events but I’m changing things up and I’d love to share more original music, along with other artistic and non-artist endeavors.
From here on out, this account will be known as “BABA NINA” / “babaninamusic”. I’ll share more about the meaning behind this shift as time goes on, but for now, I’m excited to embark on this next chapter with all of you who are willing to stick around! Thank you for being part of my journey ♥️
