Proverbs 16:2 - All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, But the Lord weighs the motives. 

God’s evaluation process begins at the heart level. He’s first and foremost concern with WHY, not WHAT.

Are our good works done to be noticed by men or to glorify Him? Do we desire more clicks and followers to be seen or to serve others? Are we after platforms or purpose? Do we desire celebrity status or Christ?

Search our hearts Lord, and may we humbly accept your appraisal.

Technique, musicianship, audio and things of that nature are absolutely important. However, it is the power of the Holy Spirt flowing through those things that changes lives.

Keep it oily.

Creativity is needed, especially for your creative team…but never prioritize it over the simplicity of corporate singing. Make participation easy. There is something uniquely powerful about corporate singing.

Ephesians 5:19: “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord”

Stay on fire. Resist apathy and heartless routines. Let nothing quench your fire for the Lord Jesus!
