Under the hashtags / , Shani and Nia discovered my research. They expressed interest in understanding the effects of social media on individuals who were formerly or are currently incarcerated. This inquiry took place before platforms like TikTok and Instagram permitted such access. I did not initially publicize this interview, but it did occur, and my work has since gained recognition within esteemed academic programs at Ivy League institutions in California. We are current working with in conjunction with the Los Angles Health Department.
