Equipped To Be

Asking questions about technology matters, but I think the more important question is: What kind of childhood are we building?

No one tells you how strange it feels when your children start becoming adults.

You are still their mom.

But you are not parenting them in the same way.

That shift can feel tender. You want to stay close. You want to be included. You want to matter in their lives. And that is not wrong.

But as our children grow, the relationship has to mature.

We move from control to connection.

From correction to counsel.

From being needed every day to hoping they call you.

Letting them go does not mean losing them.

Sometimes, it is how the relationship has room to grow.
