Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office personnel are working to support the family of a deputy who has been hospitalized due to complications of Covid-19. The public may see officers volunteering their time to show support to the family. Below is a link for a Go Fund Me page started to support the family.

Dep. Channing P***a, a patrol deputy with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, is presently hospitalized in an intensive care unit out of the area due to complications from Covid-19.

Dep. P***a joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2020 after serving in the United States Air Force for 11 years. He is currently assigned to patrol the areas of the Town of Buchanan and Village of Combined Locks. He is also continuing his service in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Out of respect for Dep. P***a and his family’s privacy no further details of his condition will be released.

This special lady is Nicole Blaskowski. Nicole was violently assaulted and shot on August 6, as you know. It was time to put a face and name to “the Officer shot” because she isn’t JUST an officer who signed up for the job. Nicole is a wife, and mother of 3 beautiful children. She’s a daughter, a sister, and a wonderful friend. Nicole is intelligent, kind, meticulous, organized, and a dozen other things that make her a good human and a good Officer…. And we are darn PROUD to call her one of our own.
