“Does it bite?”

Today UW-Oshkosh students got a chance to go to a local elementary school and teach the kids about a bunch of different animals. In the group with Donut a female ball python, the kids got to pet the snake, learn about the snakes diet, environmental impact they have, fun facts, and more. It was overall a really fun experience and the kids had an absolute blast getting to pet and learn all the interesting facts about each of the animals.

On this nice spring day, we got to teach young students about a variety of animal species that play key roles in the environment. One of those was the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, which is an important decomposer and... A little creepy.
