Celebrate the epic journey of Hudson River fish like Atlantic sturgeon, striped bass, and river herring as they make their way upriver to spawn. Riverkeeper's Fish Migration Celebration is back with a fantastical flotilla, fish-inspired art, and a celebration of the Hudson's iconic migrating species.
Our free family-friendly event launches in Yonkers at Habirshaw Park at the Yonkers Riverfront Summer Kickoff Festival from 11 am - 12:30 pm.
We'll chart a course to Newburgh, where we'll celebrate with a community gathering where you can make your own fish hats, plus a puppet parade at Unico Park on the riverfront and welcome the fish from 5 - 8 pm.

Take action: New York’s clean water bill is this close 💧🤏
Federal rollbacks of 2024 drinking water protections mean many New Yorkers could soon be exposed to toxic PFAS "forever chemicals" when they turn on the tap.
The good news: Albany has a real chance to fill that gap with state-level protections.
This bill is within reach, but it needs another push.
Legislators are hearing from all sides right now, and a message from a constituent (you!) can genuinely move the needle. If your assemblymember hasn't committed their support yet, your voice is exactly what could get this passed in the Legislature and moved on to the Governor for signing into law.
Take 60 seconds to tell your representatives: New Yorkers deserve clean, safe water, no matter what Washington decides: https://ow.ly/AwJr50Z6PNU
