Genesis Canine Reproduction

Hi all!

I’ve been getting phone calls all morning about a canine semen storage company’s changes in the southeast. I’ve been doing some digging, and just wanted to state for those in my area the options for local storage and use around here.

Movement to Zoetis for storage (Kansas City HQs) basically facilitates connections to myself, Dr Jessica Cohen’s clinic in McKinney, Josey Ranch Pet Hospital, and Summerfield in the DFW metro. They will be happy to send a tank for pickup, and charge you for the upcoming years storage as a total cost. When going to use it once established, all of the best DFW options for use are affiliated and the movement for use is minimal (~$100 including overnight shipping). It’s even less cost than I can do hand delivering from Genesis.

I can also store in Oklahoma with Genesis, but the tank rental and overnight shipping per client to pick up semen (can be multi dog) on our end will be about $600 total. So unless it is preferred to have it with Genesis, I’d take advantage of Zoetis if you have or are planning to have an account there.

Please touch base with the current storage facility about options for them to ship as well. Also you might ask about any transfer fees, even if a tank is provided by Zoetis or Genesis. Best to have no surprises and some companies will charge fees for paperwork involved in transferring.
