Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Scotts Miracle Gro: A new class action lawsuit alleges The Scotts Company falsely advertises its Miracle-Gro organic soil and fertilizer products as organic when lab tests confirm the products contain synthetic, non-organic and harmful PFAS “forever chemicals.” Long-term exposure to PFAS has been linked to serious health problems, including kidney cancer, testicular cancer, liver cancer, thyroid cancer, and ulcerative colitis, and much more. The Products at issue in this case consist of all Scotts Miracle-Gro soil and fertilizer products with packaging that represents they are organic. The Products include but are not limited to: Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil, Miracle-Gro Organic Outdoor Potting Mix, Miracle-Gro Organic Indoor Potting Mix, Miracle-Gro Organic Garden Soil, Miracle-Gro Organic Potting Mix, Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed Soil, Miracle-Gro Performance Organics All Purpose Container Mix, Miracle-Gro Performance Organics In-Ground Soil, Miracle-Gro Performance Organics Raised Bed Mix, Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix, Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Raised Bed & In Ground Soil with Compost, and Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Garden Soil. The plaintiffs are represented by Todd D. Carpenter and Jennifer M. French of Lynch Carpenter LLP.

Got to fix my roof, but I got tomato seeds started in the house in the window, and some under grow lights. I have successfully started seeds in the window of my car when the sun begins to warm up. Used egg cartons are wonderful.
In my first year, I used toilet paper rolls cut in half and filled with dirt. Placing cardboard over the spot where you want to grow outside will make it easier to work when you're ready to sow.
I'd like to be able to grow and eat what I've grown. I'd also like to donate some, and sell some, make a little money.

A hibernaculum is a place in which an animal seeks refuge, such as a bear using a cave to overwinter. The word can be used to describe a variety of shelters used by many kinds of animals, including insects, toads, lizards, snakes, bats, rodents, and primates of various species. ~Wikipedia
I have frogs and toads too, and they require a different hibernaculum. They like to burrow. There are videos out there with visual instructions. Dig a small hole, at the bottom of the hole put some pebbles or rocks in the middle. Stack sticks coming out of it, and then fill in with dirt.

Getting my tomato plants ready for the mini greenhouse. First time trying to keep it going through winter! To save space, I'm gonna plant some companion herbs around the base, or plant new seeds around the base. Basil, dill, oregano, and cilantro are what I've decided on, but a lot more could be planted at the base.
