This Sunday’s Rejoice Church is focusing on mental health!

Join us on October 25th & 28th for "Peace of Mind', a closer look at mental health with special speaker, Dr. Eddie Moody from Nashville, TN. Dr. Moody will be speaking in the Rejoice Church auditorium on October 25th, 9:30 & 11:00 am on “Finding Your Way Out of the Cave”, taking a deeper look at anxiety and depression and how we can overcome.

Dr. Moody currently serves as the executive secretary of the NAFWB. For over 25 years he engaged in the training of professional counselors primarily at North Carolina Central Univ. where he was a professor of counselor education and associate dean of the school of education. He also served as pastor at Tippett’s Chapel in Clayton, North Carolina for almost two decades. He is a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor as well as a licensed health services provider-psychological associate in North Carolina. The Licensed Professor Counselor Association of North Carolina honored him as their Counselor of the Year in 2016!

We will also offer two breakout sessions at 9:30 & 11:00 am as well, led by local mental health professionals. They are: "How to Flourish in Turbulent Times" in room 215, and "Healing from Pain of the Past" in room 216. Both breakout options will be available at 9:30 and 11, so you are encouraged to attend the worship service in the auditorium with Dr. Moody during one hour and attend a breakout during the other.

Childcare for ages infant - 5th grade is available.
Dr. Moody's books will be available for sale at the Info Center in both lobbies as well as in the breakout sessions.

🔔Then, join us again on Wednesday, Oct. 28th, 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Dr. Moody will be speaking on "Answer the Call", how we can walk alongside those struggling with mental and emotional challenges.

Dear Church, Let's Talk About Mental Health 06/08/2019

Great, article from a pastor who learned how to correctly use mental health counseling, and how church members often because of pride and false teachings do not get the help they need.

Dear Church, Let's Talk About Mental Health “Pastors are not meant to get therapy” vs. “Pastors really need to get therapy.” I used to live by statement number one... probably why I ended up living statement number two. Let me start by saying that I am still a pastor, I still believe in the absolute power of Jesus to heal the heart an...

April 11th Update: OKAMFT "ALL MEMBERS" CALL TO ACTION!! 04/12/2019

Please read into this! This is very concerning. The State of Oklahoma is voting on Sunsetting (shutting down) the state licensure board for license professional counselors, which will take away their licensure status. The ramifications of this decision on the mental health of Oklahomans is critical. This will not only make all licensed counselors lose many of their jobs, it will also hurt thousands+ Clients in Oklahoma, because they will no longer be able to be seen by their LPC therapists. Contact your representatives!
