A compassionate and skilled RN, Whitney has spent the last 9 years caring for patients with excellence and heart. With a background in the ER, cardiology, and infusions, she brings a wealth of knowledge and calm confidence to every visit at Freedom Health Systems.

Her faith in Jesus is at the center of all she does, and she sees nursing not just as a job—but as a calling to love and serve others well. 🙌

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her fishing 🎣, hiking 🥾, or spending quality time with her family. She cherishes her coworkers, who feel more like best friends, and finds joy in worship music and meaningful conversations with patients.

Meet Jessi Jewell, WHNP-BC!

Jessi began her nursing studies right out of high school and became a registered nurse in 2004. She worked in cardiac then Labor and delivery until she became a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 2010. She worked at an OB/GYN office until 2021 when she knew there was a better way to take care of patients. She has since worked at a birthing center and a functional medicine clinic. She is thankful that she has more time with her patients now and appreciates that they are always put first without any roadblocks in the way. It is especially rewarding for her when a woman tells her she feels listened to.

Jessi met her husband Stephen when they were in the sixth grade. As high school seniors, they began to date and were married seven years later in the fall of 2008. Along with their two children, a girl, 11, and a boy, 14, they enjoy camping, sports and other outdoor activities at every opportunity. Jessi plays a few songs on her guitar, and she loves to sing. Some of her fun pastimes include crafting and crocheting, and she also enjoys making scrapbooks.
