Interested in supporting humanitarian response efforts, strengthening disaster preparedness, and improving access to essential services for communities across Lebanon?

Take part in our upcoming mapathon, held as part of the H2H Lebanon project and organized by Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and the OSM community in Lebanon!

Together, we will map buildings, roads, and infrastructure to improve open geospatial data that supports humanitarian and development work. Even small contributions can make a real impact.

🌍 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. No prior mapping experience required. We'll guide you through the basics of mapping using OpenStreetMap, HOT Tasking Manager, and JOSM.

Whether you’re a student or professional in geography, engineering, computer science, public health, or another field, everyone is welcome. Curiosity is the only real requirement!

Exciting reads from the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team's field visit to Southern Leyte, Philippines, last month! 🇵🇭

The visit marked the beginning of a collaboration between Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), and the Local Government Units and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices of Sogod and Bontoc to strengthen community resilience through geospatial technologies.
