Crazy person that I am…I pieced this Scrap Vortex quilt top in 8 days, all 70” square of it. I’ll add a few handmade circles first as I always need an excuse to use my Perfect Circle templates. Can’t wait to quilt it, I’ll use my favorite thread color all over, Omni’s Tapestry Taupe, adding words and drawings and having the most fun! I have even cleaned up my studio and put away my (still) bulging scrap bins. I’ll be teaching this workshop 2 more times this year, and will have a new sample to bring along.
