Important CPR facts:
1. CPR can save a persons life.
*The sooner CPR is administered, the greater the chance of recovery.
* Most people suffering cardiac events who receive CPR quickly could potentially have a full recovery.
2. CPR is life sustaining.
* If the life could not be saved with CPR, they can be put on life support so that loved ones have a chance to say their final goodbyes.
*If the person ends up on life support with no chance of recovery, and if they are a registered organ donor, other lives can potentially be saved. *So, you could still potentially save a life. You may never meet the people who receive a new chance at life due to your efforts; but they will know that you were there, that you stepped up, and that they got a new chance at life due to your efforts.
