Also one of my Stranger Things favorites paintings----
where I broke away from my established Acrylic realism style.

My theory since 2022 S:4 is--- the only way Eleven will be able to completely destroy Vecna & close the upside down permanently is--- she'll have to sacrifice her own life for the sake of many (since she created Vecna from her evil essence, the only way Eleven can completely destroy Vecna is to destroy herself unfortunately)--- she'll become a martyr and this stained glass abstract of her will be her-- ingrained for that memory

This is a oil paint prep session. Im looking for face and flesh colors (for portrait painting). I start with some some Winsor Newton Winton oil paint. Then I mix in 1/4 part Winsor Newton Liquin (speeds up slow artist oil paint process), 1/4 part my home made Impasto (extends your base paint and adds a lot of thickness), mix well. Finally, ill add some Linseed Oil until the viscosity feels about right (the first photo is the final result looks)

John Larroquette, the Emmy-winning actor known for his role in Night Court, recently confirmed a long-standing rumor about his work on the 1974 horror classic The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Larroquette narrated the film's iconic prologue, but rather than being paid in cash, he received ma*****na as compensation.

Larroquette explained that he and the film's director, Tobe Hooper, became friends when he was working as a bartender in Colorado in 1969. When Larroquette moved to Hollywood in 1973 to pursue his acting career, Hooper reached out, asking him to narrate the prologue for his low-budget horror film. As a favor to his friend, Larroquette agreed and received ma*****na, a common barter item of the era, in return.

Despite the unconventional payment, the film went on to become a massive success, grossing over $30 million on a budget of just $100,000, and solidifying its place as a seminal work in the horror genre. Larroquette's association with the franchise didn't end there; he has narrated several of its sequels, most recently in 2022. Reflecting on the experience, he humorously noted that while he was paid in w**d in the '70s, he started receiving monetary compensation by the '90s.

Interestingly, despite his involvement, Larroquette admitted he has never actually watched any of the films, as he is not a fan of horror movies.
