Distant thunderstorm over the Atlantic last night provided an excellent light show before and after the rocket launch.

SpaceX Falcon 9 launching a new batch of starlink satellites last night, seen over cocoa beach pier. The rocket's path brought it south, which kept it from arcing as steeply as i thought it would, but I feel like I'm getting closer to making passable photos each time.

I had planned on going back out to the air show after church, but I realized I forgot my wallet this morning and I would have needed to stop for gas on the way out there. I did however go out the wetlands first thing this morning (it's kinda become part of my Sunday tradition), and I captured some good shots of some birds enjoying the break in the rain.

I felt like David Attenborough, or Steve Irwin, witnessing this marvelous sight of nature. A majestic Hercy Bird in its birdbath.
This C-130 is part of the 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick SFB, and can regularly be seen patrolling its territory.
