The Brevard Save Our Indian River Lagoon (SOIRL) Plan has 185 projects Completed and Underway. They will reduce pollution (excess Nitrogen) in the Lagoon significantly (more than a million pounds a year).

Planting trees near your septic system can be tricky, because some species of trees can cause a lot of damage.
Any trees or shrubs that you plant should be planted as far from your septic system as they are tall. So a tree that reaches 30 feet in maturity will need to be planted at least 30 feet away from your septic system.
