"Memories of Momma"....my mother loved to paint flowers and lace. I decided to try my hand at it. She used watercolor, mine is mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, oil pastels. She was a purist when it came to her watercolors as she never used white but allowed the paper to be her "white". Because of that, each little negative shape in her lace tablecloths was painted in. She loved painting this way....it took her many, many days for a small painting, as you can imagine! I am honored to call her my momma....she taught me well and I miss her soo very, very much!
